New look, new website host, and lookie... a new shiny blog! Oh, the possibilities. If you've followed me through the months and visited my website in the past you'll know that I changed it like dirty underwear. I am a discontent webmistress and have always been a tweaker when fiddling around on the webpage. I realize it was because I couldn't ever really have what I wanted. A.) A slideshow photo gallery splash page (my first page) and, B.) A blog attached to my website, not the second party Blogger or Wordpress with a different design/layout. So, when I heard Weebly had blog attached, I signed up but noticed they weren't quite there yet. They didn't have everything I needed but I wasn't giving up on them. So for four years, I laid in wait, keeping my eye on them and finally I found and bought a theme I liked, and moved everything over the last few days.
In the past, I hadn't been much of a blogger. It was just hard for me to put words out about myself or my own personal thoughts. I know the advantages of having a blog with sharing exposure with other authors but I feel as though I might let them down somehow. I feel as though my small little pocket in the publishing world will never be seen. I wanted some sort of notability for them when I hosted them. I realize now that it's an issue I've got to work out. It is a scratch my back, I'll scratch yours kind of deal. I'll break into it easy now that I've gotten a lay of the land... so-to-speak.
